Colisile Tfwala is a transformational, award-winning leader, author, speaker and founder of the Busisiwe Bhembe Foundation. Colisile Tfwala is an award-winning author whose groundbreaking work challenges historical and systemic barriers to Black wealth. Her debut book, Financial Freedom and Wealth Creation: A Workbook for Personal Financial Management, offers a practical, accessible guide to mastering the five pillars of personal finance—Income, Spending, Saving, Investing, and Protection. She followed it with Black People Get Your Money Right: How History is Stopping You from Creating Generational Wealth, the first in a bold three-part series unpacking the deep-rooted impact of slavery, colonialism, and systemic racism on Black financial struggles. Through this powerful series, Colisile equips readers to unlearn poverty mindsets, reclaim their financial agency, and build lasting generational wealth.

Colisile is a seasoned economic development expert with over 15 years of experience in Eswatini and Southern Africa. She has led impactful youth and women entrepreneurship projects, developed local economic strategies, and worked with regional partners to promote inclusive growth. Her Master’s research focused on building ecosystems that support youth entrepreneurship in Africa.

Busisiwe Bhembe Foundation

“Rebuilding the African Continent is our Calling”

The Busisiwe Bhembe Foundation was created to honour the life and legacy of a remarkable mother who gave everything to help her children succeed. Known for her kindness and servant leadership, Busisiwe Bhembe showed love through action—caring not only for her family but also for others in her community.
After her passing in January 2021 due to COVID-19, her daughter Colisile Tfwala was inspired to carry on her spirit of service by giving back to Africa. The Foundation is built on love for the continent, strong faith in God, and a deep belief that Africans can change their lives and uplift others.
Through financial literacy, entrepreneurship development and youth mentorship, the Foundation works to create lasting change for Africans and people of African descent.
